Hi, I'm Sev

I'm a passionate and dedicated web developer eager to kick-start my career in the tech industry. Enthusiastic and open-minded guy that likes to do things. I am keen on learning new stuff so I code, collect useless facts, tinker, paint, play with Arduino and I can make biodiesel from waste cooking oil in my free time.

I bring a strong foundation of knowledge and a thirst for continuous learning. I believe in the power of technology to shape the future, and I'm excited to be part of that transformation.

My past...

I've graduated as BSc in biology. While my passion for this science remains unwavering, I discovered that I could leverage my analytical skills, attention to detail, and a keen sense of observation in the field of web development. This shift represents my ability to adapt, learn and embrace new challenges. Therefore started my course in Codecool.

During the course I learnt basic Python, basic front-end, then Java and objective programming. While studying I have learned not only how to type code, but also how to work in agile methodology, solve problems and coopeate with colleagues. Therefore soft skills and communications are something I am familiar with. I have experience working with Java, Spring, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Python and JS.

After finishing course the pandemic kicked in, I found a job as the Process Associate. Now it's time to go back to coding!

Currently, I'm pursuing certificates on platforms like freeCodeCamp to expand my knowledge and gain hands-on experience. Recently I have finished first version of my full-stack application with Spring on the back-end and Bootstrap on the front-end, which helped me solve my daily problem - not knowing what to cook. You can find What The Fridge?! on my github page. The website you are browsing right now was inspired by course on Responsive Web Design, which began my process of diving deeper in front-end development. Learning is a lifelong journey, and I'm embracing it with joy.
